I ordered the Hot Toddy to suit my mood for a winter night and it exceeded all expectations! It warmed up my soul and lingered on my palate long after the last drop had been consumed. From Japanese whiskey to Goto Martini to Plum Boulevardier, every drink was an adventure.

As I stepped off the elevator and into this stunning rooftop bar, I couldn’t help but be captivated by the snow globe ceiling which illuminated my surroundings so beautifully. The ambience was perfect, adding to an already unforgettable experience. Dining on some of the best food while enjoying breathtaking views of Manhattan’s skyline was just magical! Every dish served was top-notch, from their burrata salad with balsamic reduction to their sea bass skewers and truffle fries—simply divine!

To complement my meal, I indulged in some incredible cocktails created by expert mixologists who know what they’re doing – utter perfection! My absolute favorite was called resurrection; it had an exotic blend unlike anything else I’ve ever tasted. It’s no wonder why Ophelia Lounge has become such a popular spot for both locals and tourists alike.

The service at Ophelia Lounge deserves special mention as well. Our server Nikki provided exceptional recommendations plus outstanding attention throughout our visit. Stuffed mushrooms were her suggestion that turned out far beyond my expectations.

⭐ Our Unvarnished Impressions of The Dead Rabbit:

The Dead Rabbit is hands down one of the best bars in NYC. Let me tell you, as soon as I stepped through those doors I was completely transported to another world. The atmosphere is crazy cool! Rustic decor everywhere and dimly lit but not too dark that you can’t see your ridiculously yum burger! They have booth-style seats and it feels like no two chairs or tables are the same. It’s full of details, from the art to the cocktails, so be sure to take a good look around!

Now let’s talk about drinks…sipping drinks here at The Dead Rabbit is an experience on its own- their concoctions are mind-blowing! Their food menu selection impressed us all. We tried fries which came with some must-try sauces ‘cause they were just amazing. And how can I forget; Irish coffee with donuts? YES PLEASE!

Let’s focus back-on-track and talk about service – which was outstanding!!! Our waiter Will went above and beyond his duties. He greeted us warmly upon arrival, helped navigate our order decisions throughout dinner, checked on us regularly without feeling intrusive (even when we sat there for hours chatting away), made stellar recommendations both for food and drinks, even surprised us by bringing out birthday cake after overhearing a conversation between my friends talking about it earlier.

I cannot recommend this place enough – had an unforgettable evening topped off with great food & drink while surrounded by exceptional ambiance & company – what more could anyone want? So do yourself (and your taste buds) favor: pop into town over at Water Street ASAP!!!
