What really makes Montasy stand out is that they have two weekends of Prelease tournaments while all other places only have one weekend. As someone who loves collecting cards, finding a store that values collectibles as much as I do is rare.

The staff at Montasy are friendly, helpful, and always willing to chat about the latest comic books or trading card sets on offer. My personal favorite part of shopping here was purchasing Topps hobby box which contained a gold wave refractor #23 out of 50 Ohtani! These guys really know their stuff when it comes to collectibles.

That being said, there were a few downsides too. During tournaments, it gets pretty hot in the back room where most of them take place.We also felt like they could sell more TCG accessories such as card sleeves and playing mats but overall Montasy Comics NYC provides an unparalleled experience for its customers who appreciate quality collectibles sourced worldwide alongside great customer service,it’s worth visiting even once!

Comic Book Station, what can I say? This place is a haven for comic book lovers like me! From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by shelves upon shelves of comics, action figures and trading cards – pure joy for any collector. My first visit to Comic Book Station left me feeling like a kid again as I perused through their incredible collection. Not only do they have an excellent selection of back issues but The Comic Book Station also offers services such as pressing and cleaning those old gems to give them new life.

The owner Tommy is an expert when it comes to pressing and cleaning comics. His expertise helped elevate the grade of my ASM #5 1964 from CGC 4.0 to CGC 5.5! It’s evident that he cares about his customers’ collections just as much as they do, making sure each item leaves the store looking its best!

It’s not often you find a place where everything just seems perfect – selection, prices, service – but Comic Book Station hits all three out of the park! They even have bins dedicated to dollar books that still manage to surprise me with some great finds whenever I stop by. If you are a fan or collector of anything related to comic books or superheroes then this spot should be on your list without question – check it out!

⭐ An Unfiltered Assessment of Exile comics:

Exile Comics isn’t your typical, run-of-the-mill comic book store. This hidden gem tucked behind a pharmacy in South Bronx boasts an impressive selection of old and new comics, as well as collectibles that will have any avid collector drooling with excitement. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the warm and friendly personality of the owner- Fonz.

Not only is he incredibly welcoming, but his knowledge about everything from superheroes to manga is truly impressive. It’s rare to find someone who loves their business as much as Fonz does; always willing to recommend something new or strike up a conversation with you. And don’t let this small shop fool you – if there’s something they don’t have on their shelves but you’re dying for it anyways, Fonz can work some magic and order it just for you!

I went into Exile Comics just expecting to browse around for a bit but ended up walking out with not one, not two, but THREE manga books! The prices were affordable and well worth every penny for such rare finds that were difficult to track down elsewhere online or at other stores in town. ⭐ Our Unvarnished Impressions of Bulletproof Comics Inc:

Bulletproof Comics Inc is a brilliant little gem nestled away in Brooklyn. This store really does have it all! From collectible action figures to video games, and of course their impressive variety of comics; this place really satisfies all your nerdy needs. The staff are beyond helpful and super friendly – no question is too silly or too complex for them to handle. Hank, the owner himself, is an encyclopedia of knowledge on everything comic related; his passion alone will have you hooked from the get-go.

The prices are incredibly fair for what you’re getting, which tends to be brand new items or things in like new condition. Even if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for when walking through those doors, trust me – you’ll find something that catches your eye. And once you start browsing around in there…good luck leaving anytime soon!

It’s not just comic books here either – Bulletproof Comics Inc transcends into multiple fandoms with its range of trading cards, merchandise and retro games (yes please!) Even cooler still- they even have an art gallery!! Bottom line: whether Brooklyn local or visiting NYC from afar – Bulletproof Comics Inc NEEDS to be on your list for places worth going out of the way for.
