This gym may not be the closest to where we were staying in Lexington ave, but we made sure to walk those 30 minutes every morning for our 7 am class, and boy was it worth it!
The programming here at CrossFit HK is fantastic! You get so much done in an hour with weightlifting and metcons that you’re guaranteed to leave feeling like superwoman or superman. I left there with improved lifts and even managed new PBs. The community here is also something special – everyone was welcoming from the moment I walked in! Even though we were only visiting New York City, I would go back without hesitation next time I’m around because CrossFit Hell’s Kitchen gave me one of the best workouts of my life.

The space is incredibly roomy and equipped with everything you need to have a killer workout. And let me tell you – the workouts themselves are no joke! However, what truly sets CrossFit NYC apart from other places is its community. The members and coaches alike were so welcoming and supportive, making me feel right at home during my time there.
One of the things I really appreciated about CrossFit NYC was how well-organized everything was. The required personal training sessions for newcomers were an excellent way to get started before diving into classes, which varied in intensity but were always doable for beginners. Some of the coaches – shoutout to Brian, Ben, and Nelson – went above and beyond with their approachability, generosity with knowledge, and overall ability to make class enjoyable for all levels.
However, not every coach was as helpful or positive towards newcomers as others may be (I won’t name names!). But don’t let that discourage you from checking out this amazing space filled with top-notch equipment and incredible people! With such a friendly atmosphere where both veteran athletes as well as newbies could mingle without feeling intimidated by each other’s level of fitness – plus lots off-site activities too … now how cool does THAT sound!? Everyone is supportive, whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been doing this for years. And with top-of-the-line equipment and efficient programming, you can trust that each hour-long session will be challenging but also rewarding.

Crossfit Wall Street is hands down the best decision I’ve made for my fitness journey. Recently moved back to NYC, I was getting tired of regular gyms and looking to switch things up. After doing some research, Crossfit Wall Street had amazing reviews and decided to give it a shot – and boy oh boy am I glad that I did! Keith, Lola, Sarah, and Somerton are simply phenomenal coaches who not only instruct proper form but also provide an incredibly supportive environment where you truly feel like part of the community.
The programming is top-notch, varied daily WODs including weightlifting/strength movements as well as conditioning workouts ensures that there is never a dull moment in class. Plus it suits all levels with everything being scalable which makes every workout accessible regardless of background or skill level. The facility itself is spacious with plenty of equipment available so no waiting time during peak hours.
One thing that stands out at CrossFit Wall Street has been how much fun each class feels while still being challenging; after going through this structured program even PRing almost regularly too! More importantly though everyone encourages each other when pushing limits making friends along the way really easy. The morning classes suited me perfectly which means now even waking up early doesn’t bother me.
In summary? To anyone on their fitness journey trying to get fitter while having fun: DO check out CrossFit Wall Street! You will NOT regret it- Great coaching & support in a great atmosphere combined – cross training was never more enjoyable for someone like myself who loves both structure AND variety equally-Plus need we say more about “location”? Buchanan, my coach, went above and beyond to help me achieve proper form and build strength. The gym itself is very spacious and immaculately maintained.
As someone who had been out of Crossfit for 8 years, I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming everyone was. Not only were the classes challenging but fun with great coaching, they also catered to all skill levels from beginners like myself to experienced athletes.
The highlight of my time at CrossFit NYC UWS was the amazing workouts which left me feeling accomplished each time. In addition to this being an excellent place for improving physical fitness, it’s also a hub for building relationships among members who share similar interests in health goals.

Coach Nick, who welcomed me when I visited from Seattle was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of fitness and especially cross fit. His attentiveness toward helping each individual reach their own potential really stood out during my visit and showed me what real coaching should look like. Not just some guy there to stand and count reps but someone dedicated to helping people pursue their goals.
One of the things I noticed during my time at The Borough was that everyone seemed genuinely invested in seeing each other succeed; no sign of any ego or self-centered attitudes found here!
