Blue Note Jazz Club
⭐ Our Honest Opinion of Blue Note Jazz Club:
Blue Note Jazz Club is the epitome of a cozy jazz concert experience that you would not want to miss in New York City. As soon as we arrived, we were blown away by the acoustics and ambiance of the place. The minimum purchase requirement was only $20 or $25 per person, which made ordering some food and drinks truly worth it. The servers were kind, and I loved how they utilized an app for payment.
The club’s storied history adds to its charm, but what truly sets it apart is the musical performance itself. We saw a blues concert during our visit, and it was incredibly excellent, even if you’re not typically a fan of blues music. You could tell that the musicians practiced their art form with great passion and talent.

The Django
⭐ Our Genuine Review of The Django:
The Django – a name that denotes artistic vibrancy and musical finesse. And indeed, this venue lives up to its reputation as one of the best jazz clubs in town. From the moment I stepped into the cellar-level speakeasy-style club at ROXY Hotel, I was transported back to an era of glitz, glamour, and soulful music.
The live performances are nothing short of spectacular – courtesy of some truly gifted musicians who bring their A-game every night. The ambience is cosy yet lively, with just enough dim lighting and vintage decor to create an intimate atmosphere perfect for enjoying a glass (or two) of wine while swaying along to sultry melodies.
Of course, as many reviewers have pointed out, The Django can be expensive – but trust me when I say it’s worth splurging on this unique experience at least once in your life. The cover charge may seem daunting at first but think of it as an investment in unforgettable memories that you’ll cherish for years to come.
Overall, my verdict is clear: If you’re looking for an unparalleled evening out filled with top-tier jazz entertainment and exceptional service within New York City’s bustling nightlife scene look no further than The Django!

Bill’s Place
⭐ Our Honest Opinion of Bill’s Place:
Bill’s Place is a hidden gem, tucked away in the heart of Harlem. The moment you step inside, you feel as though you’ve entered an intimate jazz club from another era. With only a few rows of cozy seating and a small stage, it feels like you’re attending a private show – with Bill Saxton and his talented band providing the soundtrack. I must say that my experience there was one of the best Jazz Shows I have ever been to.
As for Bill himself, he’s not only incredibly talented but also warm and humble which makes everyone feel right at home in this cosy atmosphere. The rest of his bandmates are equally impressive and played really well together. Not to mention how cool it is when Bill shares interesting facts about the history of the place just before wrapping up their set! And (bonus point), they allow BYOB! You can bring whatever drink or snacks choose while enjoying some great music.
If you’re planning to visit this spot then I would suggest buying your tickets online in advance because sometimes bigger groups simply won’t find enough seats available otherwise. Also arriving 15 minutes early could mean getting better seats close-up or directly front-facing on stage allowing for maximum enjoyment throughout the performance!
Overall, If really want an unforgettable lively evening filled with excitement, laughter sounds so alluringly nostalgic- consider visiting Bill’s place – enjoy live music performed by phenomenally talented local musicians, relax into an inviting atmosphere only found in smaller clubs like these – It will definitely be worth your time – no questions asked!
